The kitchen is managed by Michele Zambanini, executive chef at Villa d'Este, where he combines careful research of raw materials with respect for the product. La Veranda is a restaurant where you can enjoy the flavours of the Italian tradition, prepared with refinement and meticulous attention to the excellent quality of the ingredients employed, prepared according to the methods required of a modern kitchen, but with no distorting of textures and flavours. The pasta is prepared strictly by hand, every day, as are the ravioli. Unmissable on the menu is the risotto with perch, and langoustine tortelli with baby squid, chili, and turnip greens, in elegant silver cloches, and the Crêpe Suzette flambé made as it made like in the past.
Thanks to Chef Zambanini's brigade, customers feel pampered, as if they were at home, but seated at the table in a gourmet restaurant able to satisfy the most discerning palate.
