Galleria Como

Galleria Como is the new creative space of Sent Entertainment Ltd, an Indonesian company based in London and current owner of the Football Club Como 1907. A place that combines art, fashion, craftsmanship and sport under the creative direction of Indonesian designer Didit Hediprasetyo. The idea of giving life to Galleria Como was a natural consequence of the popularity obtained by the official jersey of the football club, designed by Hediprasetyo and launched at the beginning of the 2022/23 season. Inaugurated in November 2023 inside Vitrum - the two-storey shop designed in the 30’s by Giuseppe Terragni, this space aims to become a must-visit destination for the citizens of Como and for tourists who wish to discover the colors and textures of the lake through the creative flair of local and international artists and designers.

The project is based on three pillars: Ready-to-Wear - exclusive collections by the Indonesian designer made in Italy or in Como, which showcase the exceptional craftsmanship and top quality fabrics of the territory; Lifestyle - a curated selection of accessories and homewares that complements the fashion collection; Art Gallery – a platform that allows young artists to showcase their unique interpretations of Como. The creative direction was entrusted to Hediprasetyo due to his original vision and his ability to interpret the values of the Como football club and the Indonesian ownership, that together have been able to create a bridge between two distant countries and their cultures.

For his first project, the designer decided to involve the Persian artist Golnaz Jebelli with whom he had already collaborated in 2021. On that occasion she was asked to paint a variety of water and marble textures which would later become the basis for the design of the Como team's uniforms. That first collaboration then evolved into the Beyond Reflections exhibition, unveiled on the occasion of Galleria Como’s official inauguration and open to visitors until the end of the year. On display are twelve captivating works that manage to capture the essence of the renowned Lake Como. Jebelli's creative process is deeply personal, often accompanied by meditative chants that help her achieve a state of artistic "flow" from which her signature textures are derived, capable of expressing energy and movement through the use of color and full-bodied, velvety brushstrokes.
