Da Luciano

Still a butcher but also one of the most popular food stop. A long history short about the spontaneous evolution of Luciano and Marilena family shop. It was back in 1996 when the family business moved from Como to Laglio, laying the basis for what is today a place for lovers of good food. At the beginning it was all about meat and typical products. Nowadays there are few more options, as homemade meatballs, a selection of wines, coldcuts, all selected with the same attention and passion as always. Among Luciano's delicacies, the Piedmontese fassona and the bresaola of own production are its best.

Twenty years later, in 2016, Andrea and Alessandro took on the business, with a very specific idea in mind: to revive and reinterpret the entrepreneurial activity of their parents. Thus was born Da Luciano - Bottega e Caffè.

Da Luciano keeps being a place to find quality meat and a traditional shop, where you can experience the atmosphere of shopping as it used to be back in the days. People stop for a coffee or for a sample taste, sitting at a table by the lake: meatballs homemade, roast veal, roast beef or beef tartare are among the must-haves, paired with a glass of wine or a local craft beer. The most recent extension was in 2019: Veranda Da Luciano, an outdoor heated glass space that hosts customers even in the coldest months.
