A terrace overlooking the first branch of Lake Como, and a garden designed and tended over the years in harmony with the philosophy and aesthetics of the restaurant, featuring over two hundred different types of flowers and plants. At the bar experimental cocktails and high-quality ingredients are served. The idea of the three partners of Una Finestra sul Lago, Jacopo and Nathan Martignoni and Glauco Noseda, is to create synergy between the fine dining offered by the restaurant, the gourmet pizzeria and the cocktail bar area where high seats overlook the lake.
With his years of experience in drinks mixology, the bar manager Gaetano Alfano offers a range that extends far beyond that on the restaurant menu, so customers are able to match a drink to a dish, as well as choosing wine from the selected wine cellar expertly managed by Maître Sommelier, Michele Cantarelli and his faithful adjutant Andrea Miccio, himself a doctoral student in oenology.
One of the iconic drinks offered is Nonna Pupa, which received critical acclaim and an award during Como Lake Cocktail Week 2021. It was Inspired by Ida Lonati Frati, known as Nonna Pupa, curator of the garden in the Cernobbio Valley, who took care of this strip of land overlooking the lake. The drink contains Vòlcan de mi Tierra tequila, Seta bitters, a non-alcoholic distillate with botanical herbs, bitters, a rose mousse and Acqua Panna ice cubes.
