Casual Food

Ristorante In Teatro

Alongside the traditional menu, with dishes mainly drawing on Mediterranean cuisine, this restaurant is the go-to place for those who follow a gluten-free diet. They are part of the AIC (Italian Coeliac Association) group, which is why at In Teatro you can order almost any dish on the menu without any concerns.

Some meals are only available in the gluten-free version but the needs of all customers are met. There is for example the Milanese cutlet, with crispy and light breadcrumbs, mixed fried fish, prepared with rice flour, and desserts such as tiramisu and apple pie. This is the only AIC-certified restaurant in the centre of Como where you can order a gluten-free pizza, characterised by its specially prepared thin and crispy dough. The ingredients used are whenever possible local in origin.

Its proximity to the theatre, the Teatro Sociale, makes it the ideal place to have an aperitif before a show or just the place to book a late night after the show dinner. Open all year round, seven days a week.
