Arvindaa Yoga

Arvindaa came into being about ten years ago as the result of a meeting between Veronica Coduri and Paola Fontana. Both of them dreamed of a creating a place where people could devote themselves to their well-being, with different activities and practices available according to their feelings, without the constraints of pre-established courses, deciding independently on their own what would be right for them.

The Arvindaa is actually a type of lotus flower that differs from many in that it rises from the surface of the water, which is where the name chosen for their activity comes from. The location, Sala Recchi, is, to say the least, quite out of the ordinary, being a seventeenth-century frescoed hall in a beautiful building in Via Lambertenghi in Como. It is just what these founders were looking for, a place that was meditative and at the same time fascinating. They offer three types of yoga, Integral, Hatha and Vinyasa, and there are also practices dedicated only to meditation and Restorative yoga. In addition, they offer Pilates Matwork classes.

At the time of choosing the most suitable activity, they direct people to suitable classes according to their physical condition and their expectations. Even those who have never done yoga before are always welcome, as are bookings for trial lessons or for sessions for those who are passing through Como on holiday or for work. In summer, they also organise outdoor classes, in spaces surrounded by nature, or inside selected hotels.
